Visit of Marymount University to the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research

A long journey that was more than worth it. On March 12, 2024, the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research (LIR) welcomed 17 students, their professor, and director Lisa Jackson-Cherry from the School of Counseling at the College of Health and Education of Marymount University (Virginia, USA). The group leaders, Prof. Dr. Michéle Wessa, represented by Dr. Lena Eppelmann, and Prof. Dr. Thomas Rigotti provided fascinating insights into their research findings, followed by a resilience-focused workshop led by Kate Utzschneider, Head of the Platform Transfer. The presentations and workshop not only fostered lively and fruitful exchanges but also ensured that our guests left the LIR with smiles on their faces.
